Notes: The adapter features a built in 180 degree thermostat to help reduce engine wear and horse power loss. The oil thermostat allows the oil to bypass the cooler until it reaches 180 degrees at which point the internal thermostatic valve will close and force 100 percent of the oil through the cooler while maintaining a constant pressure system. This process allows the engine to achieve the ideal operating temperature quicker before passing the oil through the cooler.

Derale LS engine oil cooler adapters are designed to give a non-thermostatic option to consumers with high performance LS engines. They feature -10 ORB inlet/outlet ports for maximum oil flow and are rated to flow up to 20 gpm. The adapters include two 1/8 in. NPT ports that can be used for additional accessories and or sensors.
